Nicola Heptinstall
Psychotherapist & Counsellor
Nicola will provide you with a safe, accepting, and supportive relationship from which to explore the difficulties you may be experiencing. Her own values of honesty, respect, and optimism lie at the heart of her counselling style. By drawing on a range of approaches she is able to offer you counselling that fits your needs, after all, we are all unique and individual, with our own experiences of life, so why should one approach fit everyone?
Feeling heard, understood, and not judged can help you to explore your feelings more fully and more openly, allowing you the opportunity to look at the various areas of your life, your relationships, and yourself that you may not have been able to consider or face before. It is from here that changes can take place and new choices can be considered. Nicola has worked with many issues including relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, childhood abuse and trauma, family breakdowns, eating disorders, compulsive behaviour, self-esteem, suicide, self-harm, domestic abuse, and bereavement.
