Lesley McGreavy

Psychotherapist & Counsellor

Lesley is a BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. Mainly practicing in the Relational Approach, she considers that the key to a successful outcome in therapy relies upon the positive relationship which develops between the therapist and client. She offers you, the client, an opportunity to understand yourself better, as well as ways to develop healthier and more fulfilling relationships with others, which will sustain you in all aspects of your life.

Incorporating other therapeutic models, Lesley will tailor the therapy to suit your unique needs. She will support you through this experience in a safe environment where you can talk honestly about your issues, without the fear of being judged. Together you can then develop an understanding of the difficulties, finding a solution which is right for you.

Lesley has worked with a wide variety of clients, some of whose issues include abuse, anxiety, bereavement, depression, relationship issues, loss, low self-esteem, low confidence, domestic violence, childhood issues, as well as people feeling stuck in their lives.

When working with couples who are experiencing relationship difficulties, if they are willing to explore a different way of doing things and change destructive patterns, Lesley can offer a better understanding of each other, and the opportunity to experience new behaviours that lead to positive outcomes.
